Character Chronicle
CROW
Guardian of the Void
Athera’s primary warrior, secondary smith, knight commander, and the guardian trusted when threats cross the boundaries between realms.
The Warrior
CROW’s oldest accounts agree on the part that matters: when Athera needed someone to stand between its people and a threat too large for ordinary guards, CROW stood there. His authority came from action, discipline, and the willingness to remain after glory had moved elsewhere.
He became a knight commander and the realm’s primary warrior. At Stillroot, his directness found balance beside Trey’s patience.
The Smith
CROW also worked the forge. Old accounts credit him with armor, weapons, and rites whose magical language grew larger each time the stories were retold. The smith is protected history; the miracles surrounding every hammer strike remain legend until proven.
The Void Watch
Some damaged chronicles claim CROW vanished forever inside the Nether. Those accounts conflict with the continuing Chronicle and are not accepted as literal history. CROW’s later duty reaches beyond Nether gates: he is the guardian of the Void, watching dimensional threats and the places where the Rift presses too closely against Athera.
“The law of the forge is not applause. It is continuation.”
